Tendervino in Oslo, Norway

Meet us on Monday 6th and Tuesday 7th of May

Italy, a land steeped in history, culture, and unparalleled beauty, has long been celebrated as one of the world’s premier wine-producing regions. With a winemaking tradition that spans millennia, Italy boasts a rich tapestry of grape varieties, terroirs, and winemaking techniques, each contributing to the country’s diverse and vibrant wine landscape.

At the forefront of this legacy stands Tendervino, a beacon of Italian wine excellence dedicated to connecting global audiences with the finest wines and spirits from Italy’s storied vineyards. As we set our sights on Oslo, Norway, for an upcoming tasting event organized by the Italian Trade Agency (ITA), we embark on a journey to share the essence of Italian winemaking with enthusiasts and connoisseurs alike.

Exploring Italian Wine:
Italian wine production is as diverse as the country itself, with each region offering its own unique terroir and varietals. From the sun-drenched vineyards of Sicily to the cool, alpine slopes of Alto Adige, Italy’s winemakers craft a spectrum of wines that reflect the country’s myriad landscapes and microclimates.

Among Italy’s most revered grape varieties are Sangiovese, Nebbiolo, and Barbera in the north, producing iconic wines such as Chianti, Barolo, and Barbera d’Asti, respectively. Meanwhile, in the south, indigenous grapes like Nero d’Avola, Aglianico, and Primitivo thrive, giving rise to bold and expressive wines like Nero d’Avola from Sicily, Aglianico del Vulture from Basilicata, and Primitivo from Puglia.

Italian winemaking is characterized by a deep respect for tradition coupled with a spirit of innovation. While some producers adhere steadfastly to age-old techniques passed down through generations, others embrace modern practices and technologies to push the boundaries of quality and expression.

Tendervino’s Mission:
At Tendervino, we are passionate about sharing Italy’s winemaking heritage with the world. As ambassadors of Italian excellence, we work tirelessly to foster connections between discerning importers and the country’s most esteemed producers. Our commitment to quality, authenticity, and unparalleled service sets us apart, ensuring that each bottle of Italian wine we present embodies the essence of its terroir and the dedication of its maker.

Our journey to Oslo represents an opportunity to showcase the breadth and depth of Italian wine production while forging meaningful partnerships with like-minded individuals who share our appreciation for the finer things in life. Through our participation in the tasting event at Håndverkeren and our one-to-one meetings with importers, we aim to open new doors and create lasting connections that will enrich the global wine community.

We are the Ambassadors of the Merano Wine Festival.

Since 1992 this historic festival has celebrated and rewarded the excellence of Italian and international wine, thanks to The Wine Hunter awards.
For some years, Merano WF has opened up to the world by establishing a network of Ambassadors dedicated to the main international markets. Ambassadors have the opportunity to represent the festival and the awarded companies in their own countries.

As we prepare to embark on this voyage of discovery, we invite you to join us in celebrating the timeless allure of Italian wine and spirits. Together, let us raise a glass to the unparalleled beauty, diversity, and craftsmanship that define Italy’s winemaking tradition.

Stay tuned as we share updates from our Oslo expedition and continue our mission to connect the world through the love of fine wine and spirits.

Sincerely,
